Looks great and no Ford doesn`t send all that many cool cars to north america. All we get is their muscle.

It`s too bad Ford doesn`t offer anything like that (or the Mondeo) over here. They`d make some serious money.

Focus came out great! Love the wheels, they look like they could turn out to be a mess to clean!
For the Americans, Ford rebrand many cars and parts in the UK. I think you can get this engine, in a car which is the Focus chassi its called the Volvo C30. In the UK you can get both the Focus and C30.
The Mondeo was for sale in the USA at one point called the Contour. Just like the UK its a car that isnt in a part of the market where they really sell. Once the Mondeo was one of the biggest sellers in the UK, now it sells less then the BMW 3 series b/c they cost (list price) similar cash and devalue quicker the ten tonne weights over the Grand Canyon takes to hit the bottom.
Its similar in the way that in the UK people say they want the Mustang to be sold here, truth be told most people who can afford to run a big engine Mustang can afford/want something more desirble with a premium brand and image.

gavb--Nice car!! And, nicely finished. I get jealous just looking at Ford`s UK website.
No, we can`t get the current generation Focus in North America. The "ST" that was sold here through 2007 had a 2.3 Mazda engine (no turbo), and a few suspension bits from the SVT series. And, it isn`t even in the 2008 lineup.
It`s a nice enough car (I own one), but it doesn`t hold a candle to what you have.
Ford continues to keep some really sweet cars away from us here in the States. I`m going to remember that in a few years when I am car shopping again, even though my last six purchases were Fords. That BMW 1-series is starting to look pretty good to me.
Nice gloss and the wheels are sweet!

Way better than the Focus they sell here in the US.
Umm! BLACK
WOW Ford is doing something right.....across the pond. Here we get crap! Really good looking car. Maybe if ford broght cooler cars to the states they wouldn`t be hurting.
No, they don`t sell it in the us... :bawling:
The 2.3 Duratec focus we have can be pretty fun as far as after market goes. I have a 2.6 stroker 04 for my daily driver thats pretty fun. But the st3 and the rs are just awesome stock.
Thanks for all the kind comments i dont understand why ford dont release the rs and st derivatives of the focus in the us and canada im sure they would sell in huge numbers, i suppose we dont realise how lucky we are in the uk to have such a huge rs selection of fords
`Great car, i havent got one, just a brochure, im a dreamer.according from ford parts information they have quickclear windscreen, xenon headlights with washers, a 6cd sony player and full leather seats with sculpted recaro back seats...this car is monster....its my dream car.`
Really nice job, the paint really glows!
No turboed Focus here, maybe Ford is concerned it would eat into the MazdaSpeed3 sales. :nixweiss
