it was very difficult to get befores that showed the damage but i tried.

    ohc 1700 rpm`s compounding wool

    op orange 1500 rpm`s

    fp2 black finishing 1100 rpm`s

    prime blue finesse 1000 rpm`s

    ajt by hand

9.5 hours spent, could use another ten.

side note, this kind of upset me, both of my BRAND NEW yellow cutting propel pads did this before completing one pass via pc. i was almost polishing this porsche with the backing plate and it scared the hell outta me. i guess you can`t run these pads at speed 6:think: but what good are they at slower speeds?

Outstanding work !!! Is that original paint? If not that is a big $$$ repaint. Now if the owner will keep it pristine as you made it. I hope that you lock them in for weekly handwashes.

Heh heh, well it sure turned out nice even if you would like to spend more time getting it better

Sounds similar to the old "Meguiar`s pad via PC" issues... Different stresses (compared with a rotary) can have weird effects.

I am looking through some of my old threads, and looking back at this one makes me wish i had a better camera, this thing was probably the most difficult paint to correct I have personally encountered. The before pics just don`t serve justice whatsoever, funny how the power of perception due to a photo come into play.
