Well this Toyota Highlander belongs to one of my teacher`s at school, and she wanted a basic cleanup and wax. I gave her a little discount because she was my Chemistry teacher my sophmore year, and well, she was a great teacher! Now that I`m a senior in high school and getting ready to go off to school, I`ve been trying to get a lot of cars done so I can save up some money before I go off to UCF or UM :heelclick Anyways, here are the basics....

I washed the car with NXT, pressure cleaned the beast, and then I hit the whole car with a LC White pad and Werkstatt Prime, then followed up with AJT! Carpets were shampooed and pressure cleaned, leather was SCRUBBED, then conditioned with Pinnacle`s leather conditioner, then I used some APC on the door panels and dressed them with Poorboys Trim Restorer, ETC ETC ETC :grinno:

    FLAKE!!!

The interior needed some major work, this is where I spent most of my time!!!!

I cleaned and sealed my brothers car back in early Feburary, http://autopia.org/forum/click-brag/...k-warning.html , with two coats of Poliseal, and it`s still holding up fairly well. He normally parks his car inside a garage, but it has been sitting outside lately and it`s still beading well and maintaining its looks, as you can see

One of my brother`s good friends that goes to UF came over, and his engine was in need of a cleaning, so I decided to try out a new product that I saw in walmart the other day. It was a can of Simple Green APC Foam, so I gave it a shot. As you can see, the motor was extremely dirty, the car has over 130,000 miles on the clock and the engine has probably never had a proper cleaning, so it was a great test subject.

Overall the Simple Green Foam was a pretty nice product. It didn`t have that much cut to it, it seem`s like my 5:1 Simple green mixture has way more grease cutting ability than the foam, but for a quick and dirty job, its a great product...it was also like, 2 bucks, so I think it was worth it, a few shots....

When the foam was pressure cleaned off, I foamed the motor over with Turtle Wax F21 Tire foam

We also did his headlights, they were a mess :hairpull

WOW! Great work on that Toyota! What did you use to stripe the carpets?

Have you been detailing for long? I`m very impressed for an 18 year old!

    Keep up the great work!

The Highlander looks terrific! Very clear and wet shine.

Excellent work on the Mustang engine too.
