    Updated Sun Shots Page 2

First private detail in a while, for a customer that has come to me before to fix problems done by dealers and other detialing shops. He has no problem paying the $300 quote I had lined up due to time constraints and the general labour that would go into the car.

Dealer did the customer a "favour" by polishing the car, because it had some hard water spots on the rear section of the car. Did such a great job.

No befores due to time constraints, plus I was tired after washing over 100 cars today.

Here they are folks, still no topper or anything, so just imagin what she is going to look like after souveran.

    OH! Almost forgot my process:

PowerCut Plus via rotary and 2000 RPM

Speed Glaze (its all cut, I don`t see any glaze in that stuff) via rotary and polishing pad at 1000RPM.

    No topper yet.

    Looky who it is!

Our lot has over 100 cars on it. I was the only person working today, so I decided I`d go out and wash all the cars. I was averaging about 25 cars a hour, so it felt like it was taking forever.

ooh man 100 cars is a lot. and i thought 120 oil changes between a team of 8 people was a lot. Souveran on that black lan-evo should be nice. How much time did you put into that vehicle?

Jesus H. dude...that car looks amazing. I couldn`t even imagine what it would look like after Souveran.

I guess $300 might sound like a lot, but for that calibur of beauty and workmanship, I think it`s well-worth it. :2thumbs:

:secret Actually...at 25 cars/hour it would be more like 2 minutes and 24 seconds per car...good question though. I don`t think I could even hose down the car in that much time.

25 cars/ hour is a car in less than 2.5 minutes. That is impressive. I`ll have to work my way up from 35 minutes.

Fantastic work Steve, love the depth and clarity of the Evo paint. Um Mr. Bauer I think the word you are looking for is either caliber or calibre.

All I do is spray on a coat of water (the cars obviously aren`t driven, just dust, if they`re driven, the wash will take longer), and then quickly run over them with my mitt and soap solution. Dry the horizontal panels and windows. Gotta move quick, went through 4 redbulls. LOL!

Anyways, thanks for the compliments guys.
