not to be mean but those people usually have easy to look at pictures.

with the lighting and the pics you took its actually kinda hard to see all the good work that im sure that you put into it. :2thumbs:

I think the reason you didn`t get a lot of replies was because of the quality of the pictures. I know it is obvious to tell the difference, but with no full sun shots and the lack of picture quality it is hard to appreciate your detail for what it really was. It could easily be photography tricks to show the difference you showed. Also, full car pictures would be nice so we can see your work on trim, tires, wheels as a whole.

Nice job on tackling that black paint. It looks like it was oxidized and had pretty horrible water spots/etching. Did you use a rotary or PC to achieve the results? Take the suggestions on the photos as constructive, remember everyone is only here to help out each other. :2thumbs:

    good grief dude.

    first off:

New cars can look like crap. you havn`t been on here long enough (apparently) to see the torture some dealers put on new cars, or poor repaint jobs, or just poorly taken care of. The age of the car doesn`t determine the beauty of the detail.

now your pictures are just crap. You said you revised the car, but I certainly can`t tell. all I can see is that (according to the first 2 pictures) you removed some oxidation (which it seems is not that hard to do)

We cannot tell by the, out of focus, poorly framed, badly white balanced shots that you got rid of any swirls, or scratches, or brought any other part of the paint to life.

We cannot tell if it has that ever-loved wet look that everyone likes to see.

Next time step back, stop being a jerk about everything and think about it.

don`t expect us to bow down at your feet because A) you say it looks great, it sorta looks like you removed oxidation, but can`t really tell by the pictures, C) we have no idea if you paid attention to details (like fender-wells, or brake dust behind the spoaks.) D) you act like a jerk. capiche? :hifive:

all I can say is welcome to the internet. :nixweiss

It isn`t that, it is that the color is so off between the before and after shots. It is obvious you made a huge improvement but the pics still look odd. Not sure what you can do about it if you realize you need a new camera. Hopefully you can sort that out before you do another car that needs a lot of polishing so it shows off your work better.

I do agree with the others though, it would also be nice to see some full car shots if you have any good ones to post.

Well, all crap aside, it looks like you did a good job. The change in reflectivity is obvious.
