I`ve got the karcher and will get the foam wand this weekend. Is this combo adequate for quick washes in the winter when it`s too cold for a hand wash?

I just got my Gilmour gun today and couldn`t wait to try it out (even tho it`s been drizzling all day). The wife`s WRX was absolutely filthy, so I did a strong dilution of Z7 and went at it. Easily went over the car 2-3 times, cranking the gun up to high soap usage, then rinsed off. I`d say it did a great job of cleaning up loose pollen and dirt. I`m going to love using this thing and I think the wife might actually WANT to wash her car now

I got the gun at autogeek on sale along with some of their brass quick disconnect fittings and brass on/off flow control knobs. Also very nice. Stuck one on my firehose sprayer and one on the foam gun.

I dont know how you get away with such little soap, I used about 6 -7ozs of CGS super suds and it barely lasted the length of the wash

Cheaper here, use the discount code "autopia" for 10% off.

I have one, and I dont think that it is that big of a deal but it could be because I havent figured out the correct soap ratio yet.

i am purchasing a large supply, and figure that 10%off plus shipping and shipping for other stuff would be greater than combined shipping with other stuff from auto geek...?

Why not support an Autopia sponsor? Danase has the same price on the quart size foam gun and also has a 10% Autopia discount.

Danase is the place to buy the foam gun - Autopia sponsor, forum discount, and overall great place to buy stuff.

depends on the size of the car, i know america`s car are on the whole much bigger, but the foam gun used was attached to my pressure washer and not a hose foam gun.

Ahhhh I didnt read that. Man I wish I could hook my foamer up to the pressure washer. 1750psi foam would rock!

What do you guys recommend for:

    1) A good wash that doesn`t remove anything? I was thinking of Duragloss wash for an OTC product after reading reviews on it.

    2) A wash that would remove or at least help to remove protection/wax etc if I were stripping down to start over? This I`m not sure about?
