Hi everyone! It’s been a little while since I last posted, just soaking up all the info and I think I’ve managed to achieve a fairly decent result; however I would like your input on it. Sorry about the lack of before pictures.

    Process:

    Wash: Meg’s Gold Class

    Clay: Meg’s Quick Clay

    Polish: Meg’s Step 1 & 2

Glaze: Meg’s Mirror Shine No. 7

    Sealant: Autoglym Super Resin Polish

    Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection (x2)

    Wax: P21S (2x)

    QD: Meg’s Quick Detailer

    Tyres: Meg’s Endurance Tyre Shine

    Glass: Autoglym Car Glass Polish

Here are some photo’s of the work, it took about 8 hrs and 30 mins the next day for the extra coat of P21S. :faint:

Any camera will do that. Gotta love manual shutter speeds.

I`m talking about the clarity, almost no noise, excellent focus...

That`s probably b/c even though the images are only 800x600, they are quite large in file size and therefore, don`t show any compression artifacts.

some of those images are between 400kb-500kb.

If the images were compressed to a more manageable 90kb-100kb, they would show the noise you`re refering to.

BTW, great job on the car!
You know what seems odd to me?

Thanks for all the kind words!

The camera I was using is a Sony Cybershot DSC-F717 (5 megapixels). The originals also have hardly any noise (considering its JPG) but the camera`s autofocus is out of this world in my oppion, however maual focus is present when auto gets it a little out.

The bonnet and boot were shot using a 15 second exposure and I closed both at around the 8 second mark.

Thanks again for all the comments, hope my next set will be better than this though!

Excellent work! The paint looks really wet.

Those last two double exposure shots are really outstanding!
