Hi folks, I`m new on here and relatively new to `proper` detailing. A friend of mine recently inspired me to branch out from solely using Meguiars products and try some new potions out. The pics below are the result of (i) washing with Meg Gold Class, (ii) claying with Meg Quik Clay, (iii) polishing with PC using Poorboys SSR1, (iv) sealing with Klasse AIO, (v) waxing with P21S. I also used the full array of Sonus towels and the SFX PC pads. I`m pleased with the results but would definitely like more reflections and less of a glow in the future. Any suggestions on how to make silver pop and look insanely reflective?

Car looks great, I use almost the same combo on my dad`s silver car, but find that adding 1Z Glanz in after the AIO and between the P21s really adds more of a darker wet look, without losing the flake. I cant better the look so dont ever try anthing else on silver now.

Cheers - nice to know I`m on the right track. Just wish we had a few more sunny days to enjoy the flake...

Aye, it does - reflections are sharper than on mine.

After AIO, try the UPP Rich, and get some Pinnacle Crystal Mist or Optimum Sprax Wax - both are pop-tastic!

What Rob said - EX-P also makes silver in particular really flakey, esp when topped with OCW.

Nice work & car Richard and :welcome

Cheers folks, thanks for the advice - now got some UPP on the way from Rob, so we`ll see how that looks when I next do a major detail (probably October). I`ll probably ask the missus for some more Poorboys stuff for Xmas - then I can try the EX-P in the spring. I think I`m becoming addicted... :grinno:

Here`s some better pics... reflections are pretty good in these and maybe aren`t too bad after all!
