I took on (2) "projects" on Wednesday this week. A 1974 MG Midget and a 1993 Alpha Romeo Spider Veloce. Both were in need on a heavy cut to remove oxidation and some pinstripe residue. The MG particularly needed a light wet-sanding with 2000 grit to remove some heavy peel.

The Spider Veloce was an outstanding car, but looked as if the previous owner washed her regularly with 00 steel wool !!!

The Spider was cut with Hi-Temps Heavy Cut Leveler and a yellow a Schlengel PC 975 wool pad. That was followed with Meguiars DACP and a green Edge Pad at @ 1500 RPM`s. Then I finished her with Meguiars SFP and a blue Edge pad. I waxed her by PC with Ibiz Paste Wax.

Next up was the 1974 MG... She was a bit more work and required a light wet-sanding before repeting the sme process used on the Alpha Romeo...

I really like the cutting ability of Hi-Temps Heavy Cut Leveler and helped bring these cars back to a condition that should now be maintained (hopefully).

Great work on two classic cars. Nice finish on the spoked wheels too, how long did those take
