The customer arrived today in the rain, which didn`t surprise me with Winnipeg`s current weather.

I`ll give you some history on the car. It was originally repainted by the owner, after every third coat of clear he`d wetsand with 2000 grit and apply the next coats. He took it to a shop to get detailed, but I don`t understand what they did other than make it worse than before.

Anways, onto the detail itself. The car was in much worse shape than I thought it would be. Swirls, and such were pretty bad. Oh well, nothing SUPER STEVO can`t fix.

(Its gold flake in the pictures. They didn`t come out as hoped)

I used a 3 step polishing system on this one:

    Processes as follows:

    -Wash

    -Clay

-Polish with 5 inch 3m cutting pad with Poorboy`s SSR2.5

-Poorboys SSR2 on a LC 6.5 inch cutting pad (get rid of haze)

-Poorboys 2 on LC Polishing pad

    -Topped with Klasse AIO+SG x2

Tires were scrubbed and topped with Turtle Wax Shine

    Rims:

    -Wash

    -Clay

    -Seal with AIO and SG

Armor all on the wheel wells

    Mother`s Chrome Polish on chrome

    Befores:

    Holy crap I`m glad I don`t have 56K!

Nice job! How do "detailers" even get any customers when they release cars like that? Those swirls were terrible. Or did he take it through the car wash after it was detailed?

Were you able to get the swirls out of the chrome? If so, what was the process to do that?
