    Hello fellers...

I finally got my pads from Excel and got my Poorboys SSRs ready to finally do a long awaited detail of a (drums please) ......

    MISTU EVOLUTION VIII!!!

First off let me apologize for not having any before pics. I have a digi cam, and it`s broken. So by the time my friends arrived I was half way done with the car. The car came to my house pretty damn dirrty, well it hasn`t been washed all winter...not so bad b/c the car`s more than a half a year only with only 1800 miles on it. But it did seem like it was driven through a rally....

Here are the steps I took to clean this bad boy.

    1. Wash with GC

    2. Clay

    3. Quick wash and rinse to remove residue

    4. SSR 2.5 with Orange Propel (some panels i did over twice)

    5. SSR 1 with Green Propel (or was it blue???)

    6. AIO with Grey

    7. SG with MF app

Enough talk here are the pics my friend took. I would`ve taken more and better pics....but this is all he got...hope you like...

    Driver`s side reflection

I don`t even think I finished the hood when this was taking

    OOO LA LA....

    whats that behind the grill???

guys am I doing this right?!?!?!

    Look at my happy face....

Thanks for viewing...all comments/questions/complaints are appriciated.

BTW, I`ll have some pics up of my friend`s `Stang once I have the time after studying....Detailing has taken so much of that time away from me...:nono

Were you able to remove all swirls and scratches? I just did my black 2k Integra, even with orange Propel and 4* UPP, and I still see scratches when in well lit areas.

Yea right....I wish I were able to remove them all, but it`s black, what can I expect. I can say that i removed about 80% of them. When is came, I was scared that I wasn`t going to be able to do as well as a job that I did, since it was black and all. But I tried hard and was very pleased. In the direct sunlight, the most you can see are a bunch of very, very light swirls.

    Thanks for the comments.

Are you trying to polish swirls out with UPP? If you are then you`re using the wrong product for the task. UPP has no cleaning or polishing abilities at all. If you did use a dedicated swirl remover then please disregard my reply.

Whoops my bad. I meant the 4* SMR. I guess I just have to accept the left over swirls? I don`t know... I still have yet to try SSR3 and SSR2.5. I am just not aware of the abrasiveness level of the 4* SMR, even in comparison to the Poorbody`s SSR line. Some insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did the orange pad with 2.5 leave any hazing that you had to remove with the SSR1? Nice Evo btw, one of the sweetest rides for the $$$ out there.

Actually, it didn`t leave that much hazing at all. Only spot that were left hazed were the ones I went over twice and maybe a few other spots. However, with SSR1 following, it cleared all the imperfections left, and left that nice shine you have there before you.
