I`ve been very busy all weekend with details, (4 to be exact), and I am very upset at myself for not getting any picutures of the first 3. But I finally remembered to take some before and afters of a nice honda.

    Exterior:

-Wash with Turtle Wax "Platnium Edition"

-Clay with mothers claybar (took nearly 3/4!)

-Start off with Poorboys SSR2.5 x2 on a LC Cutting Pad

-SSR 2 on polishing pad ( which blew up in my face) x1

-Noticed a little bit of hazing, so I used some SSR 1 on anouther polishing pad ( which also blew up)

-Topped with NXT on a finishing pad

    Interior:

    -Vaccuum up slight mess

-Scrub with Sears brand industrial carpet cleaner

-Degrease interior using orange clean. (It was dressing greasy)

    -Wipe down door jams

-Dress the interior and leather with Lexol

-Clean glass with No Touch Glass Cleaner

    I`ll post befores first:

WAS THIS PAINTED WITH A BRUSH!?!?

Afters are comin up, just need to upload them

Sorry about the darkness, but it started to rain when I was doing the detail, so I didn`t want to screw everything up.

Thanks everyone. Total detail time was about 5.5 hours. Took a while, wish i could have gotten every swirl out, but I just couldn`t do it.

The paint is definitely improved  How do you like using the PC instead of working by hand?

BTW, I bet the owner goes through clutches like toilet paper, based on the wear you can see on the clutch pedal compared two the brake and accelerator. Looks like he/she rides the clutch big-time.

Agreed, I tried about 3 times to get the car up the driveway, it kept stalling because it wouldn`t take up the clutch.

Nice work! You gave that car some life.

The pedal wear is very common/typical of Honda/Acura cars. It comes from slipping your foot off the side of the pedal instead of lifting is straight off. My Integra with 26k miles has the same kind of wear and the clutch still grabs just fine.
