This was the first time I detailed a pickup truck. The owner decided to sell it. This vehicle has been (ab)used like a pickup.

Tons of swirls, heavy scratches, etc. It has never been detailed, washed maybe a few times.

    Process:

    Gold Class wash

    #85 on the rear gate

    DACP

    SSR1

    EX-P

    AA on trim and tires.

    Got you thinking, huh ?

My boss just walked in so I had to pause for a while

After I finally got through the oxidation and dirt, I realized how beautiful the color is - dark blue with metallic flake. That`s the color I would love to have on my car.

The truck wasn`t perfect when I finished and I made the owner aware of it before I started.

I know, the bumper is not finished in the pictures and I ran out of sun at the end.

Overall, I was still happy with the results.

    Thanks for the kind words.

It took me almost 6 hours for exterior only. While I was washing it I thought it wouldn`t be so bad but after I saw it dry I realized what a mess it was.

that is a good deal man, way to go. that was one sad looking truck to begin, not all of us truck owners are that hard on them. I must be one of the few that keeps it looking nice. thanks again!

Great recovery! Now that it is looking so good is the owner going to keep it?

Do you think using SSR2 and then SSR1 would have got even more of the scratches out, or do you think it is pretty much as good as it is going to get with SSR1? BTW, looks great, huge improvement!
