Hey all!!
Let me first apologize for the crappy photo`s and lack of them to boot. The sun was on its way into oblivion and my camera batteries decided to die. Hopefully I`ll get my hands on this beauty again under better conditions.
The car is a `76 Stingray Corvette that has received a driver worthy restification. Though it is a factory 4 speed car it is not a concours correct unit (was originally silver) but a clean driver with a warmed over 350c.i. motor. I know nothing about carburetors so I can`t give you any motor details. I know it starts when you stick the key in it and has a nice lopey idle.
This Vette belongs to the same gentleman whose bright red magnacharged Vette I posted a thread on a few weeks back. While I was there detailing the red one I saw this Vette under the lights in his garage and man did it have some bad rotary holograms. After I pointed them out to the owner and explained to him what they were we made an appointment to get them fixed.
He was very pleased with the detail and I hope he becomes a regular as he is "good people" with a super taste in rides!!
The detail:
Wash with Meg`s Gold Class shampoo
Clay with Mother`s Clay Bar using Meg`s #34 as a lube
Polish with Meg`s #80 with a Meg`s 8006 pad and my PC set at 5.
Glaze with ClearKote`s Vanilla Moose with a Meg`s 9006 pad and my PC set at 4.
Seal with Meg`s #26 paste wax by hand with a foam applicator. It was an old school car and I felt like using and old school wax.
Enjoy,
Mike
