Well, my last exam at school was yesterday and today I was bored. Its too damm cold out side to detail my truck, so I did some experimenting inside the house. I taped off a section of the kitchen counter top, and went to work.

I had no clue of what products to use. It was in rough shape, with many deep sacratches from years of abuse. I don`t even know what kind of finish is on the counter.

I tried a few product and pad combos.

    1st I tried Meguars Plast-X with a polishing pad. (didn`t do much)

Then I went to #83 DACP and a Lake Country yellow cutting pad. I was real aggressive with this, putting probally 50 pounds of pressure on the PC with the machine on speed 6.

I followed up with #83 on a LC white polishing pad at 6. Finially, I ended with Meguiars NXT and a Polishing pad at speed 6.

    I recommend wet-sanding with Unigrit. :^D

    Big improvement, though!
