I was fortunate enough to get this car into my shop yesterday, a 1970 Buick Skylark GSX Limited production 455 Stage one. The car was featured in Muscle Magazine last year, it was a frame off resturation. Every nut and bolt are original. The car is prestine condition. It will be going to the World of Wheels show in Jan. Sorry I couldn`t get any outside pics, owner trailored the car to my shop and didn`t want it moved. (I wonder why) I used a box of Q tips in this car. Spent 6 hours detailing the car. Did stuff like polish gas tank and exhaust tips. Cleaned frame and under carriage bolts. I love working on show cars, because it gives me a sense of pride knowing the car will be on display showing off my labor. He told me and once started adding up his reciepts of work he done to the car, and stopped counting at $50,000. Judgeing by the looks of the car, I can`t imagion it looked any better coming right off the factory line. Look for the car at the show if you are attending world of wheels in Chicago.

Beautiful car, Gary! The money was nice, I`m sure but the real reward is getting your hands on a classic musclecar like that one.

I don`t care what anyone says, the Buicks from back in the

    day were the real sleepers.

A long while back, my dad had customers with "regular" GS,

Regal T Types, Rivieras w/ stage one engine setups, Wildcats,

and some GNs. The cars would come in about every other year

for some sprucing up (paint chip repairs, swirls, etc). I always

jumped at the chance to work on these cars. I even got the

chance to drive them. when they were at the shop. Sadly,

most of the guys that owned those cars either gave them

to their kids (who eventually destroyed them), or they

moved to another part of the country.

Now, the only link I have to those great cars is my dad`s

    Lesabre...

Dammit! I don`t see any pics, not even red X`s. I want to see!

My dream car is a tossup between the 70 GSX and the 87 GNX.
