This getleman has two more cars for me. A 2003 Lexus SUV and a 1999 Vette (white)

The inside did take some time to clean up but didn`t bother to take pictures.

    interior

    - woolite mix to clean carpet/plastic

    - 303 to protect

    - colorx on paint

    exterior

    - nxt wash

    - autopia clay

    - ssr2.5 for swirls/screthes (about 90% came out) on pc @6

    - FK1 sealant on pc @5

    - FK1 pink wax by hand with a yellow foam pad (recommended)

    - AA on tires/rubber

we had a very nice mostly sunny day and not too warm. The paint was pretty oxydized and dry. The SSR2.5 changed all that. I planned to use SSR1 afterwards but the paint looked shiny, slick & was ready for a sealant I decided to use the 2 new FK1 items that I order a few weeks ago along with the decontemination kit(I want to try it on my car first)I applied both waxes under the sun even though the products are recommended to be used in the shade but the car was just warm, plus the garage is too small for me to use the pc.

The sealant is light blue and medium thick. The only drawback is that you have to pour it unto the paint and/or pad and you may get too much out (I`ll need to get a different top). It has a pretty strong chemical smell to it. What a shine! I really liked how it made the red paint look. It was very easy to apply and remove. You have to let it dry before buffing it off. Next I applied the pik wax that comes in the same container as #16. Went on very easy, waited 10+ minutes while I took care of the tires/windows etc... (10 minutes wait is suggested). Removed it with a MF towel and a little Quick Shine so that I could finish sooner, but even under the sun it wiped off very easily as well. Consistency is like a sorbet that has been sitting out for a few minutes. Kind of soft and smells like chemicals. No fruit punch scent here! Ok, pictures.

I was inches from the paint so you do see some imperfections but hey.... Plus the client only cared about the shine. Although I removed almost all the swirls anyways.

yes he was very pleased. the vette is not going to be detailed until spring as he is about to put it in storage. He did ask me to give it a good wash before it goes to sleep.

Don`t tell me you did this Saturday!

I washed my mom`s car on Sat. for free (of course). GORGEOUS day!

I had a white explorer to do on Sunday. It rained all damned day...

The truck looks much deeper. I think the NXT gives a very wet look, but sometimes lacks depth. I guess the wax you used has depth down!

Get that Makita out! I need to open our detail day thread back up!

HI Glenn - I did it today. On Saturdays I always massage. Today was perfect weather. Well, I used a sealant and a wax, so I got both results. I think this is my nicest transformation yet.

    MAKITA - I know I know.

    We need to wetsend too!
