This was my first paid detail. The car has lots of cob-webbing, scratches (some real deep ones on the roof), and rock chips. I told her since I do not have a PC I would not be able to take care of most of the imperfections, but the car will look really nice anyways. I washed with CG. After the wash, she noticed all the stuff that was under all that dirt. I really should have clayed the car, but I did not have any and she did not want me to spend that much time. I next applied #80 by hand a panel at a time, it was a PITA to remove, this is where I noticed I should have clayed. It took me so long to remove everything. After the #80 was removed the car was slicker and had a nicer finish to it. When she saw this she thought the car looked brand new, but I told her I was not finished yet, one more step. I applied CMW which really brought the car up a notch or two. CMW was so easy to put on and take off. The paint had a nice wet/reflective finish to it. I did the interior with PBs Natural Look, the tires with #40, the wheels with Stoner`s IG. The pictures do not do it justice, it looked way better in person. She wants me to put another layer of CMW, I might just put some S100 instead. I had alot of fun to do someone else`s car, besides it was fun also to do something other than white.
