...into detailing and photography. This first car was my PC`s sacrificial lamb as I needed some practice before I was confidant enough to touch my practically brand new truck. This car was a mess. Moderate scratching and swirling, and water marks covered the majority of the car.

    AFTER:

Sorry about the drastic lighting change, but I didn`t start until noon, and these days are getting short.

    Final process was:

    Wash with NXT

    Clay

    SSR2.5 on LC orange

    SSR1 on polishing pad

    VM on polishing pad

    EX-P by hand

Then I was ready to play around with my Denali. It`s only 4 months old but came equipped with the dealer installed swirl package. I`ve only had time to polish out the hood and liftgate which had pretty bad marring from where a carwash used a `bath puff on a stick` looking brush on it. Didn`t get great before pics though.

    AFTER:

    The hood and liftgate got:

    Wash

    Clay

    SSR2.5 with LC orange

    SSR1 with polishing pad

    VM with polishing pad

Souveran x2 on the whole truck

plain old armor all on the tires

again sorry the pictures aren`t great, but I`m fairly impressed with myself. Let me know what you think

The car and truck is looking great. What size wheel are you running with on that truck? Oh, and by the way. Alot of people around here don`t like crome. So, be easy on the responses you might get.

Nice Denali. I have been eyeing one of those as a "family" SUV.

"came equipped with the dealer installed swirl package"... hilarious.

Damn son, you got a big black car. You`ll be using that PC alot!

I bet those rims cost more than the car! Looks good. What are you going to use on the rims?

PrinzII : thanks. I absolutely love the Denali, I had an Escalade before and actually prefer this truck.

Beau : I know it, the idea of doing the whole thing in one day is quite daunting. The rims will be coming off soon for the winter, they`ve had #16 on them and will probably give them a good polish and another coat before I put them away.
