Looks really good, but 3 steps, and 5 hours :shocked

That is a long time! Did you do multiple coats of anything, or maybe the interior too?

I just did my fiance`s car last night and today, and after about 8 hours(3 more left for tomorrow) in it has: Wash, Clay, Polish SSR3x2, DACPx3, and wolfgang Prewax polish.

What kind of wheels and tires are on it, i like dual spoke design :xyxthumbs

Edit: Oh and you should throw a Caranuba topper on it, you will love the depth that you get from that color paint! :bounce

    Yea it was along time.

Vacuumed the interior, and cleaned up the vinly and insturments panel, and then used 303 Protectorant. Also did 2x with the #80.

Was clayed lash wash so saw no need to do it this morning.

BTW, the wheels are 18" Allesio Alloy Hyberblacks with Ventus Hankook HRII 245/40 ZR 18 tires.

wow, a nicely detailed rx-7. My all time favorite japanese car. So sexy. You should top color x with nxt or #26 for a deeper and wetter looking finish. It looks really nice though.

Thanks alot for the compliments. I will be redoing the car this weekend as I went down the shore and it was out in the open salty air for 2 days when I wasn`t able to garage it. Will post pictures when I am done.

Wow, that looks great, sorry to hear you had to redo it though.

I love all rx-7s, I still have to get used to the rx-8 but don`t know if that`ll ever happen. Nice car man and good job. :xyxthumbs

3rd Gens are def the best looking in my eyes. Nothing compares to it, the new RX-8 is well FUBAR it just doesn`t flow right in my eyes. The new RX-7 if it is to ever be released will be very very nice I assume.

The paint job is the stock color, Montego Blue, but it`s only about 6 months old or so and wasn`t taken care of by the previous owner, so had a lil work to be done to it.

Needs another wash soon very soon and some nice layers of Zaino, as my DD has on it.
