A friend recently called me and stated that a pro-photographer was doing a photo-shoot of his Vette at his house and did I want to come over and get some shots of my Grand Prix....

I decided faster than you can say "Zaino" !!!!!

Here are some pics he took and the poster composition he did for me. The poster is 24x36 framed with glass front...

Here`s the poster he put together for me... It`s on super glossy photo paper...turned out great!!!

Man, what do you use on that car?!? It looks great, the paint on my wifes Gp is fairly poor and never looks wet / deep, but always kinda plasticy.

I started using Zaino about 2 years ago.

    My spring procedure is:

    1. Wash with Dawn x 2

    2. Claybar

    3. SMR x 2 or Number 2 x 2

    4. Z5 x 2

    5. Z2 x 2

From that point on, I just use Z6 or WAUD (diluted) adding a coat of Z2 as needed....

    Crazy gloss.

The engine bay is a bit much for me, but I like how the only thing that alludes to it are the flames from the hood. Good tie-in.

Do you have problems with rock chips on the front bumper? I assume your paint and bumper are very similar to mine (`01 T/A) and it seems that I`m getting a ton of rock chips. I try to stay off the highways during rush hour too, I only drive them at night/weekends...

My car gets driven primarily in city driving. When I take a road trip or do extensive highway driving, the bra goes on.

I know that bras have problems of their own, but it comes off after every road trip.

Hey, I`ve been meaning to ask you, what did you use to paint your engine cover, I was meaning to paint mine, but didn`t know how to go about doing it, since there is lots of heat from the supercharger.

I used "PlastiKote High Temp Engine Paint" then Clear Coat of the same brand. It has never cracked, peeled, bubbled, always looks good.

    A bit overstated? True.
