Excellent work, Sean! I agree with you about Expiditions, they always seem to be really nasty. #80 sure seemed to do an excellent job on that paint, the side by side shot really shows a nice improvement.

Next time you use Vanilla Moose, use either a foam hand pad or your pc with a polishing pad (crank it up to 5-6) or a finishing pad with the rotary. It is even better by machine.

Just FYI, when the owner says he will call you again when he needs it detailed again, I can practically promise he means when it looks as horrible as the before pics again.

    Thanks for the compliments!

Yeah Scott, I will give VM a try on the rotary and polishing pad. I like the look of it a lot and its easy to buff off. Just getting it on is a little PITA.

The owner went over with me how often it should be clayed and detailed. I told him about sealants vs. carnaubas and after all of that, he said the next time would be January. Little long IMO, but what are ya gonna do.

Anyone notice the kids got to it "Ew" "Clean ME" on the back tailgate/window?

    Great, great job!

I detailed a 1998 F-150 that was in that kind of shape. They really are bears, but then you can just revel in the results of a hard day`s work!

I`m gonna have to get some #80 now.

    NICE WORK :xyxthumbs

Good to see the #80 is getting some playing time on this board.

It`s a great product and its definately one of those versatile ones that do many different tasks with different pads.

I like following up with a true glaze w/o cleaning abilities.

Scott was right, apply VM with a polishing pad :up

Again, you did a killer job

Now I`m going to have to pick up some #80. Look at what this board does. I get paid to detail and I go out and buy products for my hobby...to detail. It`s a never ending battle.

To bad my body shop supply store only sells gallons of #80..... I just hat e to pay $8 shipping on a $12 order.

Thats one heck of an improvement! That color red is really hard to make look nice, in my opinion.

Might have just been the pics too...

No, no pics of the Cabrio it was parked in a nasty underground garage with horrible lighting, pics wouldn`t have come out well.

I had a ton to do and I guess I might have looked over that area a tad...Not a huge deal. I`d rather have swirl free paint, than sand free pedals. Point well taken though. I will see what I can do with the next job.

    Any pics of the cabrio?
