2003 Honda Pilot, using Vanilla Moose and the pure sealant test version of Poorboy`s EX:

    On a 2000 Ford F-150:

And on the hood of a white Excursion:

    --------------------------------------

All in all, a very easy product to use. I apply it to the whole vehicle and then go back and wipe it all off. No streaking and it leaves a very nice gloss, similar to UPP, IMO. No 45-60 minute wait though.

    Durability testing is ongoing.

    Scott,

F150 looks amazing. as does the Champagne Pilot. The white is hard to tell like usual.

I was interested in purchasing UPP, but now you say this is close to it...Should I save my pennies and just get this? As far as durability, as long as it lasts 3 months to a daily driver kept outdoors, it`s good enough for me.

Sean, I`ve had good durability results with EX w/Carnauba and I would guess the pure sealant version of EX to be at least as durable. Problem is, the pure sealant version is still being tested and I don`t know if and when it will be released for sale. I`d go ahead and get the UPP for now. If and when the ps verison of EX becomes available, it is worth trying.

Wow, looks great to me! It will be interesting to see if the pure sealant version is more durable than the previous EX, as it sure looks good!

It sill amazes me that you do that all by hand ScottWax! Great work! :up :up

Your Poorboy`s picks make me want to try some, but I`m more inclined to try a pure product, maybe this will solve my issue. It`s not too expensive either, if I recall correctly.

Corey-I also really like the EX Sealant with carnauba. Looks really good on black and even has a nice glow on light colors.

    Scott,

As always those cars you "shine up" look S W E E T ! :xyxthumbs

How does the "PS" EX compare to NXT or to any other sealant that you have been using recently? Please let me know as I always find your input invaluable!

    Cheers,

AMP-actually, the `pure sealant` version of EX seems pretty similar to NXT in appearance, but with less filling capability. Both also remind me of UPP but a tad deeper and without the 45-60 minute wait to remove (UPP`s only real drawback...if time is short).

How many layers of EX are you using and how long do you let it sit before removing it?

    Thanks Scott

Did you put the VMC on and then top with EX?

1 layer and I apply it to the whole vehicle then immediately go back over it and buff off the excess.

edschwab1-you would have to contact Steve at Poorboys. He just asked me to do some real world testing. The grey Taurus I did will be a good test. I wash it every other week and it sits outside 24/7 (their garage is full of junk). He is a pharmaceutical rep, so the car is a driver!

Horseman2475-you mean Vanilla Moose? If so, then yes, I`ve been using VM and topping it with the pure sealant EX.

No, I mean the Vanilla Moose Carnuba. I topped the EXx2 with VMC and it is unreal. Do you do it that way or VMC and top with EX? I have also found that the VMC attracts very little dust. Like you I must do mine in the sun and by hand. That is why I follow your advise.
