Finished up the Porsche today, used:

    1. Dawn wash

    2. Pinnacle Clay

    3. P21 paintwork cleanser

    4. VM

    5. P21S

I`ve used DACP for my other cars with a PC but decided to do this one by hand and was surprised how easy the P21 cleanser was to use.

Really pleased with the depth of shine, not sure if it shows up well in this shot but the last pic was after I pulled the car back into the garage and happened to notice the reflection of the flag in front of our house on the rear fender flare.

Thanks to all for the great advice on the board.

Awesome detail and awesome car! I was thinking about using P21 cleaner before VM and EX. Can you add anything else about the P21?....Andrew

I used P21S just after I purchased the car a year ago and was pretty impressed with how long the wax lasted. The car is garaged but is driven almost daily, although not that many miles. I put on about 11K last year and the wax was still beading up when I redid it this week. The only thing I make sure of is that I use a QD (Pinnacle) spray to go over the car about once a week or at the most every two weeks. Not sure if it matters but I also use P21 wash on the car as well.

I also felt that P21 paintwork cleaner did just as good a job as DACP however the paint was in pretty good condition so "your mileage may vary".

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Silver Porsche! Too

I love that color on Porsches. I detailed a 911 a few months back with the same color.

Absolutely beautiful! :xyxthumbs (I mean, considering it`s a watercooled Porsche, and all.) Just kidding, just kidding!

Looks great! The P21S GEPC is great stuff, its nowhere near as abrasive as DACP though.
