    Does anyone know if Lincoln paint normally has orange peel? This was the worst ive seen.

    Thats weird because this one has TONS of it. What causes orange peel? While buffing, I noticed that it had lots of paint chips (on the doors) that tried to be repaired. I guess the dealer tried to cover it up as much as possible.

    Yeah, I like em too. Somewhat luxurious, yet sporty (maybe thats why they called it the Luxury Sport model ). He`s getting a DVD player put in today.

    Ford usually doesn`t have too bad a problem with orange peel. Did you buy the car new or used? If used, it may have been repaired at some point, which would explain excessive orange peel.

    Im not sure if it was repainted or not. My friend got it a few weeks ago used (from dealership).

    I got the idea from DavidB actually. I saw it in the buffing article. You can get it from any hardware (in paint section) or house paint store. Its called 7 day release or something.
