    2024 Acura Integra Type S

    2024 Acura Integra Type S
    30 miles
    Majestic black pearl/red/black interior
    6 speed manual
    2.0 liter turbo 4 cylinder
    320HP
    0-60: 5.1 sec

Client’s new daily driver. Really cool car! I dig it! Paint was hammered (burn marks/noticeable buffer/rotorary/pad marks) from the dealer prep/’fix’ (only 30miles on this thing!) DISO’d up too.

    The ‘details’:

Adam’s shampoo, tire/rubber cleaner, eco wheel cleaner, glass cleaner.
    McKee’s37 iron remover.
    DeFelkso PTG’s.
    Scangrip lighting.
    Flex cordless beast.
    LC pads.
    Griot’s twins-FCC and Perfecting.
    Optimum panel wipe.
    Aquatek Singular coating.
    Adam’s graphene tire dressing.
    Metro vacuum.
    Adam’s interior detailer.

    Thanks for looking!

Sizzle, did you get to drive that thing, other than in and out of the garage?

Yeah, curious of how it drives. I had a 98 GSR and loved it, only sold it because it was just too small for me.

And nice work, really made that paint come back to life. Can`t believe in 2023 dealers are still doing that crap...

Dan, your post prompted me to look up the Integra, I had no idea they made it for as long as they did, nor did I realize the GS-R was the Type S of its day.

I remember them dating back until the mid 80s. Of course they were a very small brand at first. For the time the GSR had an eye watering redline of 7800 rpm and sounded really cool. First drive at work and I was smitten. It was the drivers (budget) car from Honda as the Prelude was getting too soft and bloated, and earned the name Qualude. Wonder if anyone knows what that is anymore without looking it up….

Sizzle, you have to do a test drive to make sure the swirls don`t come back! ;-)

Is 3.7mils thin for a car straight from the factory?

    Sizzle Chest:
I do not see you using your Flex Cordless Beast (AKA, Flex XCE 8-125 18.0 Gear Driven, Dual Action Polisher) very often.
What reasons did you have to use it on this particular vehicle?
What do you like and dislike about this particular Flex machine?

On the interior: Do you wipe down all interior materials, including the leather and clear plastic gauge covers and control/navigation touch screen, with Adam`s Interior Detailer??

On the exterior: Since you now using Aquatek`s Singular coating as your preferred coating offering, is this coating the Professional Installer`s/Applicator-Only formulation or their consumer version? I ask because when I looked at Aquatek-reseller Detail Image`s website, the info on their new offering of Singular seems to be a re-formulated professional-version for the everybody-else consumer market.

Nice detailing on the Acura Integra Type S. The owner (Don`t tell me, ANOTHER vehicle from Darth Vader`s collection!) should be very happy with its now new appearance.

Re: 2024 Acura Integra Type S

    Thank you Lonnie!

I hadn`t used it in a while and didn`t feel like being bothered by a cord this day!

Yep, interior got wiped down with it. It didn`t need much.

    Singular is their `Pro` offering.

As always, appreciate the comments/questions/etc! Thanks!
