    Mustang Mach 1

    2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1
    Black/Black
    5,241 miles
    5.0 V8, 10 spd auto
    Full of swirls
    480HP/420TQ

    Top speed: 166mph

Client loves his Pony, but it needed a little magic to make it look as it should. FULL of swirls and scratches. Paint was a mess.

    The ‘details’:

Adam’s shampoo, wheel cleaner, tire/rubber cleaner.
    McKee’s37 iron remover.
    Medium clay mitt.
    Hydro blue on wheels.
    Master Blaster to dry.
    DeFelkso PTG’s.
    Scan Grip lighting.
    HF Hercules machinery.
    LC pads.
    Griot’s FCC and Perfecting.
    Optimum panel wipe.
    Aquatek Singular ceramic coating.
    Adam’s graphene tire dressing.
    Adam’s glass cleaner.
    Metro vacuum.
    Adam’s interior detailer.

    Thanks for looking!

Wow, that thing definitely needed the Autodermatology makeover! That shaker hood scoop is all show, no go?

    Sizzle Chest:
First I see that you are using the Harbor Freight (HF) Hercules direct-drive polisher more than the Flex "Beast" (XC3401 VRG) in the last details you have posted.
You must be "liking" it for reasons you have mentioned before , like cooler operating temps.
Second, I see you are now using AquaTek Singular coating over your former-offering of 22ple Mistico Elemento Forte. What are some of the reasons you are now using this AquaTek over 22ple coating? Price? Easy of application? Availability? Product shelf life? Customer service of manufacturer/supplier? Durability and/or appearance? (Inquiring detailing minds want to know. Well, Captain Obvious anyway!)

One question on the before pics is HOW did those scratches or deep marring get on this Mustang fender top surface? It almost looks like someone SAT on it with something in their pants pocket, like a cell phone or keys (Who in their right mind uses a nice late-model muscle car for a chair, even if it is a Ford!) OR maybe washed it with something on their wrist like a bracelet or watch. I guess it does not matter; it was (past tense) there. How much work or detailing effort did it take to remove and perfect this area?

Nice detailing workmanship on ANOTHER black car. I would think that Darth Vader`s black-car collection would have had most of its cars detailed by now, but hey, what is another one to add to this black repertoire. I like it because it has a 10-speed automatic and even I could drive it with my bad left knee (no clutch to push in-and-out all the time)

    Lonnie:

I am really liking and impressed with the HF machine. If I needed it, I would go buy another just to save for a rainy day/if another one of my machines went down.

Yes, Aquatek is my only offering now. I am still an authorized 22ple installer, but with them being overseas, it was making it difficult to acquire product and receive support. Still a fantastic product and I still have a few bottles in stock, will still be using it every now and then--keep your eyes peeled mister! LOL

I`m not really sure...it was just not properly taken care of and the owner didn`t have the time to do so either. Ford paint, IMO, is on the soft side, so it corrects easily. I enjoyed this as you can see the fruits of your labor right before your eyes as you correct!

    Thank you as always!
