    Merlin:
Why are you using CarPro`s Darkside Tire Dressing instead of your usual offering of OBSSSSD Tire Dressing - Matte?? (You finally ran out of it, maybe?? Only Captain Obvious would make that observation and ask such a question)

Are you mixing the Meg`s M101 and M110 compounds together as you correct to get rid of the M101 you still have or mitigate some of the "undesirable" characteristics, like its short work time and dusting??

Do you ever post `before-and-after" pics of a vehicle that you are detailing?? I ask because sometimes the "before" condition lets me and others see how truly transformational your detailing workmanship is. I also understand if you do not because you do not want to embarrass the owner of the vehicle, since they are allowing you to post their vehicle here in this forum.
(What is REALLY sad it that my "after" pics of vehicles that I detail would probably look like your "before" pics!!! Few detailers perfect vehicles a good as you, Merlin!)

Love the reflective black exterior paint. For a 2017 with "x" amount of miles on it, it looks like it just rolled of the new-car dealer`s showroom.[/COLOR]

It depends on the mood I`m in. It depends on the tire size, and it depends on the type of client.
Darkside has a slight bit more shine without looking like a "glazed donut". (I hate that look)
This client was a lady and I feel they like a slight bit more shine than the OBSSSSD matte finish.
That said they are both excellent tire dressings with slightly different appearances.

Actually, M101 is getting to be very difficult to obtain.
I feel M101 cuts better than M110. M110 is less dusting.
So my 2 drops of this and 2 drops of that gives me the best of both worlds.

It is very rare I post "before-and-after" unless it`s a really, really bad "before".
I feel that posting 50/50 pics only encourages some detailers to hammer the paint for that social media post.

    Clear coat is VERY thin!

Many folks remove way too much CC to obtain that 50/50 bragging pic. I measure I polish. I measure I polish...
Yes, this is a slower process but the end result is the client does not have clear coat failure 3-6 months afterward.
I measure in microns. A good high-quality paint thickness gauge is your friend! Otherwise, you are polishing blind!

Did you know that most cars (recently) the paint thickness averages 110 +/- microns? This is primer, basecoat and CC.
NOTE: The average circumference of a human hair is 100 microns
