What a machine! This is a true 4 door hot rod that excels in every area. Super cool vehicle. Had minimal defects, mostly light swirling.

Hate what they did to what used to be called the "kidney grills"... Now more like largemouth bass or something... Sad...

I know you are prefer Griot`s Garage Boss Correcting(compound)/Perfecting(polish) Cream for MOST of your details, but on this blue M3 Bimmer, you used Meg new M210 polish only . Any reason(s) why?
Was there THAT much iron/brake dust on the wheels (rims) for only 500 miles from new, or is this typical of BMW brake break-in?? I ask because the brake disc looks "metallic", not carbon fiber like.
Did you do anything special to the chrome exhaust tips that you forgot to mention??
I also assume the red interior was special-ordered that way from the factory through the dealer by the owner/buyer. Looks unique.

One other Captain Obvious question: Does this particular BMW M3 ever tempt you (or your better half) to want to become a BMW owner/driver?
(Get real Captain Obvious! Would you as a Green Bay Packer`s fan become a Chicago Bear`s "fan"? Now you understand the Porsche versus BMW owner/driver choice.)

Did you do anything special to the chrome exhaust tips that you forgot to mention?? Yep, the dust in the before pics was just terrible. Hi perf brakes/pads = tons of dust! And you are correct, they are `steel` brakes, not carbon/carbon ceramic. Nope, just had to wash/scrub them and they were good to go.

I did not "get" the red interior until I saw the "light blue-dark blue-red" color stripes on the M-Series insignia/logo.
Now I get it; it is a continuation of that M-Series color scheme with the blue exterior.
I did see that this BMW sports the commemorative 50th Anniversary of BMW Motorsports emblem/insignia on the front hood, rear trunk deck, and the center cap on the rims, which I was unaware of, is WHY there is a small red half-circle is under the trademark blue-white spinning propeller representation within that logo.

PLEASE let us Autopians know more about your thoughts on Meg`s M210 polish as you use it in future details. I am just curious about this polish and its `"advantages" over the old and still-available M205. M205 was/is a forum-favorite and a polishing staple because of its ease of use and final results on a variety of paint/color types used on today`s production vehicles.
