    Merlin:
Thanks for this particular post of a Porsche 911. It`s an iconic sports car that is one of those "dream cars" that any self-professed sports car aficionado would love/want to drive and own. Being black just gives it that sinister "Darth Vadar" look.

I must say that your detailing process and use of certain car-care products does not change all that much. I like your pics of the TUGA Devil Special Wheel Cleaner and how well it seems to work, as evidenced in the photo. I guess it`s like former Meg`s Car Care Guru Mike Phillips has said, "Find a product you like and use it often."

Just curious about the IR-light curing. Do you do that for all your vehicles you coat, or were you just trying to speed up the process because of time constraints?

As usual, your detailing workmanship speaks for itself in the photos. There are few, if any, words in the English lexicon that accurately describe how really "good" that workmanship is, hence my reference to the photos and the proverbial "A picture`s worth a thousand words". I know between you and Sizzle Chest, the praise and accolades I have made in your posts (and Sizzle Chest`s) may seem repetitious, but please be assured, they are made with my utmost respect and admiration.

AND the inclusion of photos of your red CarPro tape jobs. Sounds "weird", but it is in the same vein of respect and admiration. I REALLY think tape-offs are largely overlooked as "needed" by many who call themselves "detailers". I gain some insight into what and how it SHOULD be done.

That looks amazing. Well detailed, non-metallic, black paint is always a head turner; moreso on a great looking car like a 911.

I will say although it sounds like same-ol`/same ol`...
I do test many different products (test spot) and I use what works best on that paint.

Actually no, CQuartz Finest Reserve (CQFR) requires baking at 140 degrees Fahrenheit with a Short Wave Infrared light for twenty minutes per panel to assist in activating the coating curing process from the bottom up. This is in addition to 48 hours (it can`t get wet) from the top down after baking.

Again, thank you! Those are very kind words.

It takes time to tape off trim, emblems, lights etc. It is worth every minute spent.
