Wow, another great save. You have the knack of attracting "beauties" with issues.

    Sizzle Chest:
Great work on "Moby Dick". Looks right at home in your driveway!!
    Three questions:
    1) Is the wrap`s (PPF?) adhesive easier/better to remove mechanically by abrasion (clay-mitt and compounding) as you have done here than by chemical solvents, like 3M`s Adhesive remover?
    2) Is the computer-controlled adjustable rear wing (at least I assume it is) elevated manually to that height as photographed for ease of access as its detailed?
    3) Do the numbers "275" on the front windshield and "14" on the rear driver`s-side window have any significance? (ONLY a Captain Obvious observation question!)

PS. I bet you are glad you did not have to do a wheels-off detail, considering that this GT3 has the famed Porsche center-locking wheel hub nut and using all the special Porsche tools and applying your mechanical aptitude to those PCLWHN (another acronym to add to the Autopia Forum "Decoder Ring" list!).

    Re: 2014 gt3

    Good morning Lonnie!

My client took the vehicle to have the wrap removed. They removed a vast majority of the adhesive. They did not remove all of it. What was left was very rough and hard(ened) Clay was the best way to remove this. Adhesive remover was necessary on small areas and needed quite some dwell time. Then I clayed over it to remove it.

The rear wing on GT3/GT3RS`s is a non-controlled wing. It needs to be manually adjusted. This particular vehicle has wing risers installed to elevate the wing more for additional down force. (it is a dual duty vehicle, sees street time and substantial track time)

The numbers are their track numbers.

Yes, center locks are definitely not my favorite!
