Amazing work! Just curious, how long does something like this take you? It would take me over a week, and my results would be far, far short of what you accomplished. I am just blown away by true artists such as your self and Merlin, and many others here.

    Sizzle Chest:
Thanks for posting your pics of the detailing work on this Arctic Grey Porsche Turbo.
One thing I did notice is the "bleeding" from the rims on this wheel-off cleaning. Is this from the McKee`s 37 Iron Remover OR the Adams Tire-&-Rim Cleaner? I assume the former.
Are these rims clear-coated and did you clean them up with GG`s Perfecting Cream (polish) before applying the 22ple VM1 rim coating?
Also cannot get over the deep-dish of the rims to the spokes on the rears compared to the fronts. Very self-evident in the pics!

It has been a while since you`ve beta-tested a detailing product; this time a leather cream-and-oil. How did it work for you on this red Porsche leather? I ask because there were no interior pics and the Florida sun-required tinted windows do not allow a sneak-peek of the red interior from the outside, or is that on purpose because of the beta-testing?! (Yeah, I would not uphold my Captain Obvious reputation if I did not ask Sizzle Chest about ANOTHER beta-test product!)

"Grey-t" detailing workmanship on this Porsche. While not a huge fan of grey or silver hues, it always looks "dignified and aristocratic" on Porsche`s and Mercedes-Benz`s. Hey, I would NOT kick this Porsche Turbo out of my garage just because of the color hue.

I was thinking the same. Even thought this is almost a 20 year old car, I’d gladly take it and drive it daily. Especially after Sizzle finished with his magnificent work. Only problem is I’d get in trouble constantly for playing that melodious
    engine as a musical instrument.

    Re: 2002 Porsche Turbo

    Thanks everyone!

RP: Thanks! I really don`t count hours anymore, but I usually work on them for 2.5 days to finish everything.

Lonnie: Darn! I forgot to post interior shots. It`s a great interior! I used 2 different products, a cream and an oil. Worked very well on the somewhat dry/thirsty leather. Wheels were not polished, just cleaned and then coated. The bleeding is from Adam`s wheel cleaner. Wheels are cleared. Thanks for the comments!

    dg: Thank you!!

Awesome Job, I bet doing a non black car is like a vacation for you !

How do you like the Quick Jacks? Are they stable? Seems I was reading on Garage Journal that the poster had a scary situation with a car shifting bc of an uneven lift? Any comments would be appreciated. I am in the research phase at the moment.

    Re: 2002 Porsche Turbo

    Thanks guys!

JSF: I`ve never had an issue with them at all. VERY useful for wheels off/getting to the lower rockers and I`ve even done maintenance on them without issue. When I first got them I lifted them without a vehicle on them and one was uneven, I had to bleed the air out of the system and it`s been fine ever since!
