    2020 Jaguar F Type

    2020 Jaguar F Type
    2,043 miles
    Santorini Black Metallic/Red interior
    3.0 Liter Supercharged V6
    340HP
    0-60: 5.1 sec, Top Speed 161MPH

Client brought his ‘proper British sports car’ in for a little love. Vehicle sat at the airport for a week and was covered in bird droppings…I mean like a flock of pterodactyls circled over it and covered it. He was kind enough to have the exterior cleaned, but it was in every crack, crevice, body panel/line, well you get it. It also had a few nice little compost piles started under the bonnet…piles of leaves! Paint was full of swirls, holograms, and some deeper scratched which all but the most sever were removed. This cat came out very nicely, and I enjoyed working on the super soft paint!

    The ‘details’:
    McKee’s37 APC—A TON OF IT.
    Adam’s shampoo.
    McKee’s37 iron remover.
Adam’s wheel cleaner and tire and rubber cleaner.
    McKee’s37 Hydro Blue.
    Master Blaster to dry.
    DeFelsko PTG.
    Scan grip lighting.
Flex 3401, pixie and Rupes iBrid.
    LC Force Hybrid pads.
    Griot’s FCC and Perfecting Creams.
    Optimum panel wipe.
    22ple Mistico Elemento Forte.
    GYEON Tire.
    Auto Finesse glass cleaner.
    Mckee’s37 interior detailer.
    Metro vacuum.

    Thanks for looking!

    Sizlzle Chest:
What constitutes a "soft paint" and what special methodologies do you use to correct this paint? I see the compound, polish, and pads listed, but is there a special technique to using them on this particular paint?

In one of the pics, I see a folic-challenged person with a fluorescent green shirt on and wearing glasses reflected in the front fender of this Black Cat. But I also see a Banana Yellow vehicle reflection in the door of the same pic. What is the make and model of this vehicle? (Yah, another nosy Captain Obvious weird observation question)

Was "the TON" of McKee`s 37 APC used to remove the pterodactyl bird droppings?

Nice work on this Santorini Black Jaguar. (Wait! If it`s a black cat, isn`t then called a Panther?)
By the way, Santorini is a famous tourist island in Greece that has a black lava-sand beach, which I assume this color is named after. (Yes, I Googled it)

I consider `soft` paint one that is easily correctable yet finicky to `finish down/final polish`. No real special technique, just don`t go nuts on it! The final polish is the most critical aspect of it, and you need to make sure you don`t mar it with your towel(s) while removing your residue/polish/etc.

(Yah, another nosy Captain Obvious weird observation question) That would me moi! It`s a Signal Yellow 1974 Porsche 911.
