Client’s daughter’s new Tesla. It’s name is Dexter. Wanted it corrected and protected…and it really needed to be corrected.
Swirls, heavy swirls, scratches, hazy/gray looking paint from all the defects.

The ‘details’:

McKee’s37 quick interior detailer.
GYEON Leather shield on seats.

Heck Scott, you`re amazing. You just do it.

My friend called me the other night. He just bought a Tesla S Plaid. He is going to bring it over for me to drive. I`ve driven some fast cars in the past and had the chance to drive an 800 HP Mustang a couple months back. That said, I don`t think my head can even imagine what a sub 2 second 0-60 car must feel like. Of course, there won`t be a prepped track to do something like that but just being in a car that has this capacity should be a real trip. Sorry for going down this road in your thread but I thought you`d be one that could appreciate it.

excellent job as always. Some of those front shots you’re taking recently are money.

I laugh to myself every time I see a Tesla now. Last weekend I was taking my uncle out for a joy ride in the 360 since he hadn’t been in it and as I was on the on ramp to the highway, there was a Tesla behind me, I ran out second and third gear as I saw the Tesla silently rip past me like I wasn’t moving. Eventually he was getting off the highway and I pulled up next to him, older dude with a huuuuge smile on his face.

I don`t mind Gear, I want to hear what you think of the ride/drive! I have no interest in any electric vehicle, however, I do like their performance!

I am not sure how many Tesla`s you have done, but this black "Dexter" needed the master`s touch.
Being new, were these paint swirls from the factory or dealership?? Guess it really does not matter; they are (now were) there.
How would you describe the clear coated paint on this Tesla: Soft? Hard? Somewhere in between?
Did you use any special methods/techniques in the correction and polishing processes??
I ask because I do see you use Griot`s Garage Fast Correcting Cream and Polishing Cream parred with Lake Country`s Force Hybrid pads on some of your past details and wonder if you "apply" these differently on the Tesla than on other vehicles.
There`s a lot of angst and trepidation about correcting Tesla paint and I am not so sure if it is "Fake News" or misinformation that Tesla paint is "different" than other vehicle manufacturer`s clear coat/paint.

I do not like the dash at all, maybe because there are no visible gauges in front of the driver and ALL the vehicle information/driver interface is in the center screen. Then again, this Tesla practically drives itself so the "driver" in really a passenger who can access all of that information in the center screen without "worrying" about being distracted. (RIIIIIIGHT!)

Nice detailing work on Tesla black "Dexter", Sizzle Chest. (I will not question why the owner chose that particular name, but there has GOT to be a story and reason for doing so. My wife names ours with a female gender name matching the first letter of the model name. Her Ford Taurus is "Tilly")

Dealership `added` the optional paint defects.

SOFT, somewhat finicky and difficult to finish down...

No special magic was utilized.

Nope, it is all `real` news when it comes to their paint.

It looks kinda cool, in a super modern way, but I`m not a fan either.

She is a fan of `Dexter` some show I believe.

I always find the quality of the dealership`s paint finishes bewildering.

The customer always states "It`s brand new. It`s in perfect condition".
Then you see it...

On a side note: Those Bright white "plant-based" seats do/will turn yellow.
I highly suggest getting custom-made seat covers.
