Did this on the forum, but not every photo I selected would upload? Still trying
Mike, try cutting the pictures size down and then try and upload it again. I know that I have this problem but it never tells me why it won’t take it. If I cut the picture down by 50 or sometimes by 30 percent it will load.

I`m glad this came up. What is the max pixel size the board will allow you to upload? I was going to post some work I did recently and despite reducing the photos once, they won`t upload. I`ll reduce them again if needed, but don`t know how far to go.
Thanks!
Mike, I don’t know specifically to tell you how to do it. It’s dependent upon which platform you are using. Microsoft will let you resize a pic in their Paint and other programs and then save to any size you want. I use an iPad but transfer most of my pics from my Samsung phone to my Photo Gallery. When I make the transfer it asks me if I want to reduce and by what percentage. I do it during this step and then it’s just a smaller file in my Gallery that can be inserted during my post creation. You can of course use Apple’s version of Paint and do the same thing. There are tons of paint, draw and photo programs that will allow you to save to a smaller size file.

I transfer all of my photos from my iphone to my PC and use paint to reduce the size of them. I can`t recall the limit of the forums gallery. I want to say it`s around 300kb per photo.
I use paint to reduce the size of them.
If you use paint, then click on the resize option.
In the next window click on pixels
From here I shrink the largest aspect to 800 pixels.
I would recommend to crop the photo first before doing any of this.
Finally save it as another name and the size should be around 300kb or so. Then you can upload it into your gallery.
The other option is hosting your images on a site like imgur and then just use the img tags.

I just upload them from my phone on tapatalk
works pretty well for me
I`m sure if I ever get a real camera I will have to figure out how to do it the other way.

I use Easy Thumbnails to reduce the size if images. It`s free ware and doesn`t destroy your original. Works great.
