Dodge Challenger, In black with Pinnacle Black Label V2

Yes, another Mopar from me. But at least it`s black and was in legitimate need of my services...so on with it...

This is our club`s current ride of the year, by the way.

arrived in a clean condition, i was surprised to find Zero bugs on it and he drove 50 miles..did he stop and clean it? maybe

I hope you enjoyed that "sun" because it`s the last I`ve seen since then.

    ●the wash:
    rinse
snow foam out of foam cannon via hose
    2bm gg wb wash
with PB Super Slick & Suds and some micro mitts

wheels got snow foam too and boars hair brush agitation

    rinsed
gyeon wet coat on red painted side skirts, front chin spoiler, rear valence and glass

    pulled into garage
clayed with blue/red nanoskin sponges and uber rw diluted 1 oz to 1 gal for clay lube

    pfm and blaster dried
p808 on wheels, nanoskin rain on glass, bold n bright on tires, mckees vinyl spray on stripes

    ●the cut:
Rupes lrh 21 mk2, duetto, mini, nano long neck
adapt via rupes green pads and some uro tech maroon
    essence via rupes yellow pads

    ●the lsp
    optimum paint prep
pinnacle black label paint coating v2

12 hours later- pinnacle black label coating booster

    released the next day

sorry all i have are garage shots but here goes...

What is this film from? I guess soap haze? Any ideas?

    you get the idea...
but heres more finished pics anyways

I`ve taken a "shine" to your Mopar posts. I never just "gloss" over them. Everyone should "reflect" on your methods.

Great work as usual Mopar King! It really is deep and reflective.

That haze does appear to be soap. Leftover, haze, dried, etc. Did it come off easily?

I`m with Sizzle Chest, looks like soap residue or early clear coat failure. Really hoping it`s soap. Nice car.

It looks great but I like your car better with more black. The red is nice for a contrast and really stands out a little to much for my taste your car really looks more manly.

    thank you
tried essence on maroon pad and green and it didnt take the haze off

then tried adapt on same pads and came off

only part i couldnt get was a real thin line where i taped as close to the vinyl as i could

i considered taping the matte (black) vinyl and leaving the gloss red pinstripe open and hitting it with my nano but i decided it sounded somewhat risky

there were some spots on the curves that did a actually make me think possible clear coat failure
car is a `14 and has only 24k, barely driven.

i like mine more as well. when taking pics I kept getting fristrated with the matte stripes taking away reflection capabilities
