2014 Ford Explorer XLT - Polished Paint and CQuartz Finest - Grand Cayman

It was a privilege to go to Grand Cayman and do a CQuartz Finest install.
His wife recently purchased the vehicle. I thought it came out GREAT...

Wash: Two bucket method, Merino Wool Wash Mitt and Iron-X Snow soap
Decon: Nanoskin Pad & Sponge (Fine) with Optimum No Rinse for clay lube
    Compound: Rupes 21, 5" BP, 5" Carpro Flash Pads with Meguiars M101 & D300
Polish: Rupes 21, Lake Country 5" HD Orbital foam red pads and Carpro Reflect
Small Areas: Griots 6" polisher, CP Flash pad & LC 3" Red Hydro-Tech w/Unigrit 3" BP
LSP: Zaino Z-16 Tires, CQuartz Dlux on all plastic & rubber trim & CQuartz Finest on paint

    Here are the pics.

Yes, it was 75 degrees and clear blue skies...

    Thanks for looking...

Nice job and nice gig. I though the only thing in the Caymans were banks!

    Thank you.
I ate lots of wonderful local cuisine and toured the Seven Fathoms rum distillery.

...and there`s swimming with the Sting Rays.

    Cabana Bay was AWESOME!

You work looks great, thanks for sharing!

FYI: I noticed that the orange peel is more noticeable on the doors than the hood (4th picture from the top).

Did you buff all the panels the same or was the clear just different from panel to panel (or 3rd could it be the camera/angle)?

    Thank you.

I noticed that too. I polished the panels the same but I did not sand the OEM orange peel.

Yes, however, it seems that he has some friends that have some vehicles there that would like to get them polished and CQF.
I may have a 66` "Jet Black" Vette to do coming up soon there also.
