Met this person through another customer who set up this detail and for the 525. The E350 actually belongs to my customer`s fiance, he has a `95 2 door Tahoe that`s pretty mint. Anyway, the lady who owns the Benz has an 8 year old daughter and ferries her and her friends all over the place.`

Paint needs a full correction but until the bumper is repaired and he sees a major improvement in the way the car is taken care of, just a basic, 1 polishing step detail for now. I was able to get the buffer swirls from previous body work out of the driver`s side. Owners had already left by the time I was wrapping up, and I`d already given the keys back to them so just a few garage shots.`

1995 BMW 525, only 41k miles on it Up until a year ago, it was garaged all the time. Now it sits under trees and gets constantly bombarded with bird crap. All horizontal surfaces have at least moderate etching. The car is for sale and despite the low mileage, it being a base 6 cylinder/automatic means it isn`t really worth that much. Just a quick clean-up and protection was all he wanted. Same process as the E350 above. Some of the etchings did come out, but many were just too deep to do much with. No guarantees wetsanding would remove several of them so he said do what you can while staying in a somewhat modest budget. Shame about the etching, rest of the paint is pretty good. And being an older BMW, the clear is a lot softer, pretty much all the swirling was coming out in one step.

Do you think that Gold class leather is better than Optimum protectant plus? Curious if this was because of the age of leather, or other factors

Gold Class is a conditioner, Optimum Protectant Plus is a protectant. The leather needed conditioning.`
