On a cold and dreary November weekend we worked together with the owner of the Audi A4, my friend Bartek. We focused exclusively on the exterior, because the interior has been thoroughly done not a long time ago.

On Saturday morning we washed the car thoroughly and we started work on the paint. For Bartek it was the first experience with a polishing machine and I must say he did a fine job! The paint, as it often happens in an Audi, was very hard, but we managed to reach very good results. In my opinion, during the two staged correction (in some places even three staged), we have removed more than 90% of the scratches of various types – small and large, with a very good quality finish.

After correction we thoroughly protected all external elements (paint, glass, seals, tires, plastics) of the car using the best cosmetics which are available at Auto Spa.

We used the following products and tools:

    Wash and decontamination:

IronX + Shiny Garage EF Wheel Cleaner (1:3) for rims
Shiny Garage Perfect Active Foam as a pre-wash (about 200ml to 700ml of water in foam lance with Karcher)
Shiny Garage Red Devil HD Nano for nooks and crannies and as a second pre-wash (1:2)
4nano Ultra Violet (shampoo, 90ml to 15l of water)
CarPro IronX (distributed with a sponge throughout the car)
Prickbort MAC124 tar&glue remover (distributed with a sponge throughout the car)
    CarPro PolyShave Decon Block
Dodo Juice Born Slippy Concentrate (1:5 as a glide for the "clay")
4nano Glass Shine (1:90) for windows
    Karcher K5.700
    Blaster SideKick (for drying)

    Paint correction:

    Rupes Zephir
    Meguiar`s #101
    Meguiar`s D300
    Meguiar`s DA Microfiber Cutting pads
Flex 3401 (cutting, roof and bumpers)
Rupes LHR15 (cutting, other panels of the car)
    Sonax Profiline Perfect Finish
    PolishAngel Escalate Lotoin
Chemical Guys HexLogic white, black pads
    Flex PE14-2-150 (finish)
Chemical Guys Metal Shine Extreme Polish & Protection
    CarPro Eraser

    Protection:

    PolishAngel Master Sealant (paint)
    Gtechniq C2V3 (side windows, trims)
SCS Titanium Glass Guard (windscreen, back window)
    Wolf`s Rim Shield (rims)
    4nano Tire Shine (tires)

I invite you to view photos and video.

    Before.

    During work.

Piotr--Great Job as usual!!!!`` Can you give some information about the lights shown in the various pictures.`` They look to be mounted on Photographic light stands.` Are they used for general illumination or do they also highlight marring??```` Are they LED, Hologen or just incandescent??

This really looks nice and you`ve done a great job documenting the process.

It looks like your friend would benefit from a product we have called Dr Colorchip to take care of the marks on the hood of the car!
