I took a drive out to Pebble Beach and onto 17-mile drive to take care of a client`s 32 roadster.` I had done his `67 Ferrari 330GT earlier.` Owned by a retired Indy 500 driver (you can see the trophies all over the garage...).

This 32 was to be a driver, not a showcar, so a simple correction was carried out.` The paint was quite thin and could not support a full correction, so I did as much as could be performed safely on the thin paint.

Upon arrival, it was pretty clean

This was one of the thickest readings on the paint.....Not exactly what I wanted to see

Most of the car read in the 40`s or 50`s (microns).` Scary thin.

    Before

    After

Previous detailer left a few of these behind while it was in the possesion of the previous owner.` Another reason a paint depth gauge is a smart investment... If the last guy had one, strike-throughs like this could have been avoided.

    Making some progress....

    All finished

I loved the color on these wheels

    LSP was DoDo Juice Austintacious

    Thanks for looking!

Love the vintage Hemi! Very nice amount of correction given how little paint you had to work with, turned out great.`

Yikes, that paint was super thin. Great job though Jeff, you made a hell of an improvement!
