These are all basic details finished with Optimum G-P-S.

2010 Porsche Cayman. We had three cars for the owner to detail (an Elantra and an S2000 that I posted last time I detailed their cars), all are garaged and well cared for so nothing drastic was needed.

ONR wash, Opti-Raser pink to clay

Optimum Hyper Polish using an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA to spot polish a few areas

Optimum G-P-S using an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21

Optimum Metal Polish on the exhaust tips

    Armor All on tires/wheel wells

ONR wash and wax @ 32:1 to clean glass

    --------------------

2012 BMW 750, owned by the former CEO of a huge corporation, kind of surprised how relatively modestly they live. No exotics, mostly GM SUVs and a Mercedes ML in addition to the 750. He was referred to me by another high level former executive of that company who lives nearby. The main concern was some scratches on the hood and along the side. Hazy sun most of the time we were there so I couldn`t get any good before shots. Nothing that bad anyway.

ONR wash, Opti-Raser pink to clay

Meguiars M100 using a Meguiars MF cutting pad and Rupes 21 DA to spot polish the scratches (whole hood was polished out though)

Optimum G-P-S using an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21

Optimum Metal Polish on the exhaust tips

    Armor All on tires/wheel wells

ONR wash and wax @ 32:1 to clean glass

Woolite/water @ 20:1 to clean vinyl and leather

3D Carpet Shampoo @ 16:1 to clean carpets and mats

Optimum Protectant Plus to dress leather

Meguiars Interior QD to dress vinyl

    --------------------

2007 Ford F-150. We`d recently detailed his daughters 4-Runner and wife`s G35 now it was his turn to have his truck detailed. Its regularly driven up to Canada (he takes a several week fishing trip up there ever year) and had a lot of scratches from brush so no point going too nuts on it. Especially since he was leaving a few days after the detail to head up to Canada for his annual trip.

ONR wash, Opti-Raser pink to clay

Optimum G-P-S using an Optimum MF cutting pad and Rupes 21

3D Trim Protectant on all exterior trim

    Armor All on tires/wheel wells

ONR wash and wax @ 32:1 to clean glass

Great work as always Scott. How are you liking the Rupes? Is there anything you still prefer about a "regular" DA vs. the Rupes or is the Rupes better in all aspects? When I had the Flex DA, I didn`t like that I couldn`t use it to get into small areas. I`m just wondering if the Rupes is the same way because of the design.

Nice work as always guys! Those 750`s are big cars! Until working on one you don`t realize how big they are! Rupes leaves a nice finish with a cutting pad! 750, that`s still a V10?

Tight areas, sometimes I do have to use my HA Freight DA but otherwise I prefer the Rupes. Cuts faster, better finish.

    I believe the 750 is a twin turbo V8.

Wow those cars look great as usual!

Ive always been curious on why you use Armor-All on the tires, instead of a dedicated tire dressing?

Why? Because Armor All is water based, has the right amount of shine for tires and wheel wells, its cheap and available everywhere. Its a great product, no idea why it gets so much hate.
