Completed recently, this was a Sharkwerks "Do everything you guys do" build from a 3.9 engine build, roll cage, software, exhaust, suspension, wheels, seats, flywheel, stereo..........................etc. The vehicle was a little rough but came out beautiful as the following pics will demonstrate.

Built for a celebrity in the MMA world who I am a BIG fan of(Read not fanBOY) for his technical prowess, but more important to me his candid honesty and tremendous humor and the fact his feet are still on the ground in the way he interacts with people who are famous fighters/promoters and the common fan.

The beginning after a wash/decon step, carbon wing not looking so hot.

    Improvement evident.

15 microns of clear is not much, so I carefully corrected the wing.

    50/50 showing entire wing.

    The whole wing corrected.

Rear shelf and louvers with marring present.

    50/50 on the roof.

    50/50 of the clearfilm correction.

Clearfilm on entire trunk lid now corrected.

Water spots and marring on the factory decals, this area can be challenging to correct so the graphic is not ruined while trying to correct the defects.

    All better.

Clearfilm on the front bumper was hammered, 50/50 showing the improvement.

Late into the night(This can be the best time in the shop without distractions).

Back over to Sharkwerks to retrieve the new HRE`s going on the car, here is UBER tech James who built the car getting things ready for me.

Now before the wheel swap, it was time to clean up the suspension & wheel wells.

Time to get the new wheels shaped up.

Wheels cleaned, rubber stripped(But not dressed as they are cup tires).

Wheels were match mounted next door @ Alekshop, witness mark tells the tale.

    Factory spec torque settings.

    Rollcage.

Carbon shells on the seats.......................so full of winning tightness.

Bigboy audio/laser set up.......................... not for the faint of wallet.

    Engine bay standing tall.

Cleaned and more important absent of "Brylcream like dressing", matte finish per new spec.

All finished, waiting to outside for sun pics.

I have a question about how to go about correcting clear film. I have a customer whom I corrected his Maserati GT and he had the front end clear filmed. It is now showing signs of swirls, he hated to admit this but he takes it to the dealer to be serviced and they have washed it a few times. Marring from brushes or rags or whatever, is present on the hood only, the rest is not to bad. Question is; what products and techinques do I use to corrected the film safely?

    Thanks

Beautiful car and nice documentation :clap1:

Did knowing the owner was an MMA fighter ad any extra pressure? I would hate to tell one of those guys something didn`t go as planned ...

When at 90 ft/lbs you are even with the line at 0.....like this

When set to 96 ft/lbs you will be covering the the 90 and have 6 lined up with the center line.....like this

This is what 86ft/lbs looks like

Still see the line next to 90, but 80 is covered and at the center line is 6= 86ft/lbs.

Been a QA Inspector for 25 years, I know how to read a torque wrench.
