Damn PC died on me after I finished compounding and was halfway through the 1st polishing step. Paint was too soft for the rotary, even Ultrafina and the blue Ultrafina pad couldn`t finish down hologram free, was leaving light tracers. Luckily, one of the Walmarts in the area had a G110v2 in stock, just picked that up, headed back in the morning to finish polishing it and apply Optimum Coating.

I promise, no picture of just me smoking a cigar!

Not sure about the soft start but seems solid. Slightly larger than the PC 7424 XP. Rather have spent money on a Rupes than a G110 but right now, getting a buffer to finish tomorrow was the most important thing.

That`s going to be a big turnaround! I love full corrections, especially on hammered dark vehicles! Going to be some shock and awe factor guys! Fine time for the buffer to take a dump! Full correction!

Couldn`t have picked a worse time too. Maybe 45 minutes or so of polishing left. Had to run from basically MacAuthur and Beltline to 820 and Ruff Snow to get the G110...and what I had set up tomorrow is about 4 miles north of 820 on Ruff Snow. Neither the Lowes or Home Depot carry the Porter Cable in store anymore. At least the DFW connector construction is moving along and 635/121/114 isn`t quite the nightmare it used to be.

Paint is quite soft, cut the swirls out in about 3 hours of compounding, not bad for something that big.

That buffer has been laying there since they started carrying the line Scott. I was hoping that they would give up and start reducing everything, but not yet. I swing by or have my moles check every week.
