The "Clown Shoe" M Coupe! Awesome Thomas, can`t wait to see this!
Those are quite rare, only about 6,000 ever made and that one has an aftermarket exhaust system I`m thinking.
I`m with Mikenap, I can hardly wait to see the results too.
(Mine`s Imola red and a bit of a garage queen.)
Thanks guys! This has 4000 miles on it only.
s54 or bust

s54 engine powered the 2001-2006 m3 with 333hp. The 2001-2002 m coupes had the s54. The 1999-2000 m coupe had a s52 which also powered the 1995-1999 m3 and had 240hp.

Ok! I was able to finish the car last night at around 10:15pm which was great. So this car was just purchased from a car collector. The car is getting a lot of it protected with 3M clear bra in a week and needed to be as perfect as possible. The customer requested that I don`t put any wax on it for obvious reasons, but I did it anyway plus after the car is wrapped I will put some more durable protection on it. After we got home this afternoon from the S4 detail, I drove over to his house to pick my customer up and brought him back home with me, to pick up his car. The forecast was lots of rain this PM so we wanted to make sure that he can get home before the storm, so I don`t have a great selection of after pictures, but I`ll see him soon and hopefully the weather will cooperate.
Process was:
3D Degreaser wipedown
HD nano towel to decontaminate
101 with griots pc and flex 3401 on yellow foam cutting pads
HD SPEED with white LC pad GG PC
Optimum Car Wax
HD FREE on windows
HD Metal Polish on DINAN exhaust
3D Magic Blue Tire Dressing

Yikes, that`s some thin paint. These cars are timeless. Goofy looking and gorgeous all at the same time. Obviously Ferrari thought so too, because every time I see an FF I think of this car! :lol
Uber glossy Thomas, that last pic makes the fenders look like they`re melting off the car!
