Thought I would give you guys a little sneak peak of whats in store for me over next few weeks. This is gonna be a pretty project! I got a pretty heavy budget to work with on this one! :Banane16:

With almost 14000 miles on the clock and a year old. Lets take a peak!

The motor has just a little bit of dirt.

I wonder what this painter was thinking? :shocked How about a really bad blend and a color mismatch?

    Normal Mercedes break dust!

I was actually able to drive this car and I`ll be the first to admit, its got some big kahones if you get my point. The front end on the car is long, Ill guess it was to much for the previous owner. oops :eek1:

Over all it is a pretty cool car!

This car was recently purchased by its new owner, I`m fortunate he contacted me to bring it back to its fullest potential. Its gonna be a pretty big project. Make sure to check out the write up when its done! :buffing:

It`s amazing to see that even folks with really nice toys treat them just as bad as the average Joe treats his beater. All is well though as it`s now in great hands and will restore it`s dignity!

So did someone actually have to spell it out on how dirty that beast is?? It looked pretty bleepin obvious to me!

Can`t wait to see the end result!

How can people let a kick *** car get into that sad of a condition ? Will the new owner have the body work done first or are you going to just detail it for the new owner to re-sell ? Looking foward to seeing the finished project.

Barry Theal- Who you gonna have do the paint/body work (and what the... happened with that bumpercover hole anyhow?!?), the painter you said could do my Crown Vic? I`ll be *VERY* interested to hear who *you* consider good enough for that kind of work.

And how you gonna deal with the fresh paint/LSP issue?

sls amg is my favorite car in the world. I had the pleasure of driving one on fathers day at a autox/parking lot race event for a few minutes. cant wait to see what you come up with to bring it back to the glory it deserves!

Mnewxcv, all Barry has to do is look at the defects and the car CORRECTS ITSELF! He just goes thru his process to make them suffer.....just a little. Chuck Norris doesn`t have those kind of skills!

Irregardless, IT WILL come out awesome!

No real surprise there, I`ve known body/paint guys who do a lot of things I consider ill-advised. In this case, I`ll be interested to hear how *Barry* handles the fresh-paint issue.

Body shops wouldn`t wax fresh paint if it caused problems. http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-det...esh-paint.html Dont think Mr. Barry will have any issues.
