The Ultimate Transformation of Barry Theal

This thread is to pay tribute to not only a good friend, but great asset to the entire on-line detailing community. He’s one of the most talented and well rounded Reconditioning Perfectionists out there and since his inception into the on-line realm of internet detailing just 2 short years ago; Barry Theal has far surpassed many people’s expectations, abilities and accomplishments. To sum it up, he’s the man’s man of the professional detailing world. If an award were to be given, he surely would have to be among the best to deserve it. He started out like many do, cigarette in mouth, power washer in one hand and Rocks in The Bottle in the other; ready to grind on any vehicle’s paint that was willing. He’s worked on vehicles totally penetrated by filth and urban assaultism to cream puff million dollar exotics constantly utilizing the identical level of integrity on each and every vehicle. He has now worked up the ranks to only service the most selective of car collectors from across the northeast and even as far south as my own state of Florida. He is more than just someone we once knew as Buffer Barry; he is now the legendary Presidential Details. Talk about someone that is hard working and dedicated... Barry isn`t just an enthusiast - he`s one of the best guy`s I`ve come across. His passion and love for what he does provides myself and many others with the motivation to push ourselves harder and harder. I don`t know where the road ends, but the journey to greatness is already in motion.

What can a guy say when one writes something like this about him? You know when I first came to Autopia, I was a very experianced detailer with alot of passion. At first I wasn`t as open minded as I am today. At the point in my career I knew one way how to do everything. It was my way. While it was working for me it took a lot to open my mind and allow others to raise the bar higher for me. I was told once it takes a lot to become a great detailer. There are many talented detailers in the world today, but greatness in this business is only acheived in my mind by the ones with open minds who allow others comments and accept them. Its funny when I first seen this thread a few days ago. I wasn`t sure what to think and I thought I would let it pan out a little first. I got to laugh at some of these pictures. Its amazing how things change. I am one who has had a lot of success in this business both nationally and locally. Its wierd because when people call me for advice it feels good and I always try to help anyway I can. I remember calling several others with ?`s ( yes Barry Theal has asked for advice from others ) now people call me. kinda weird how it works I think. Now I find myself being friends with a lot of detailers and I would not be here today without anyone of you. Since this thread is about me I would like to take this time to thank not only you David, but many others who have helped and supported me along the way. Rydawg,RickRack, Th0001, Kevin Brown, Gmblack3, MuttGrunt, Auto Concierge,Jesse and a few others all of you have helped and inspired me in one way or the other. Gentleman thanks alot! Hell even that all famous Accumulator for me think at times! lol I now have a bracelet that says on it WWAD. (What would Accumulator do ) lol ok not really. THanks to all who support my threads and write ups. A lot go into these things and all your comments are taken to heart everytime. anks Again.
