This was the second time I was called upon by the owner of this CTS-V to take care of a CTS-V. His name is Mike. His screen name here is MSOsr.

The first was his black 2005 CTS-V two years ago. This one is a Thunder Grey Chromaflare beauty that needed very little. Being a forum member here at the one and only original Autopia.org you`d figure he would have his stuff together... And you`d be correct!

It was extremely difficult with this color to capture any of the very minor defects with my camera, but this video gives you a good idea of what went on.

This vehicle is one of my all time favorites! Thank you, Mike for giving me this opportunity to work on your beautiful car! It looks great and I think you are doing a fantastic job maintaining it!

    Thanks for watching!

That really does look good. I could tell the difference on the fender and door in the garage, though just not as noticeable as in person probably.

Did you go straight to the PF and orange pad, or did you try the green pad first?
    Fergy-

Your only as good as your last detail

Thanks! It was a fantastic color that really did seem to come alive with some polishing! I did just start with pf and Orange.

Sorry, I think I missed the forum you were speaking of. Could you say it one more time? Maybe spell it out slowly? :eyebrows:

What made you go with Menzerna instead of an Optimum polish?

Because Optimum doesn`t have a polish that cuts and finishes like power finish!

Power Finish and Super Finish are two of my favorite polishes, great for one steppers!

Thanks, Garry, for your great work. My car looks great!

The Thunder Gray Chromaflair paint hides swirls and imperfections very well; I`m glad you were able to find them and correct them before applying the Opti-Guard, which is out of this world. I actually touched the piano black dash area today without having to polish out marks when I got home!

Again, thanks for your wise counsel and great work!

    WOW! ! !

    You rocked this V Coupe`

    Looks great.

Mike - you`re one lucky guy to have Garry work on your car. He`s a class act. This reminds me that I need to work on having Garry detail my sister`s cars in Ponte Vedra.

Great job Garry! The gloss was definitely turned up a notch. This is another reminder that I need to pick up some Buff N` Shine pads.

    Thanks for sharing.
