This one was a real doosey. It was infested with industrial overspray that was as hard as concrete. This one took me 3 whole days to complete.

As if it werent bad enough that this was an SUV, but it was black to boot. What a pain!

    Check out the video!

Wow, if nothing else I think that demonstrates that an aggressive clay shouldn`t be taken lightly. I`m not sure if I was more horrified by the overspray or by the paint after claying!

    Nice save, though.

Very nice work Garry, I hate claying and seeing that overspray made me cringe! I`m sure the customer was super pleased.

I agree. The cm red is some harsh stuff, but it really works well for overspray removal. Thanks!

Nice work. Was it more difficult to remove the overspray from the trim and rubber seals compared to the paint

It is, without a doubt, a much bigger pita to remove over spray from trim than it is to remove it from paint. Thanks!

LOL @ the razorblade! How are you feeling btw? Better?

Good vid. MB looks much better, very nice for a 1 step. I bet the client was stoked to get the car back and was kicking himself for disappearing for so long!

I am much better now. Still have some crazy chest congestion, but good. Thanks for asking!

    Hey, no problem! Thanks!

Im glad you like them. I just added two new versions of the same clip. One is very similar to the one you have, but a tad bigger to accomodate a 3/8" air hose. The other one is much larger and is designed to hold your vacuum hose out of the way so that you dont have to scratch up door jambs while you vacuum. The vacuum hose version is made of heavier duty plastic and will accomodate up to a 2.25" hose and all smaller.

Did you not watch the video, lol?

It was Buff and Shine 5.5" orange on PCXP with Menzerna Power Finish.

I dont have much experience with D300 yet. Does that combo finish well?
