Recently completed job on this beautiful "Storm Black" DB9, the owner has had the car only a short while but due to improper washing(Commercial wash) the finish was in terrible condition along with quite a few factory defects(Sand scratches) which are common for Aston`s.

Here are a few pre-wash/decon pics.

    Deep scratches.

Built up compound on the edges of the trunk(Boot).

After the thorough wash/decon/clay step here is what I needed to correct.

    The trunk was especially bad.

Readings were taken and had the thinnnest paint of the entire vehicle(Of course.....) so caution was taken.

The obscured "Flake of the finish" now restored.

Rear bumper on the passenger side had deep marring and factory sand scratches.

No doubt Aston makes a wonderful car...........................but sanding then assembling the vehicle before compounding all the sand scratches out is "Laziness" on their part.

Marker light removed, then a proper corrective process accomplished.

Here is another example of sand scratches "In and around" the DB9 emblem.

Correction without the removal of the emblem.

Sand scratches on thin portion of wheel arch.

    Healthy readings(Big relief.....).

    After compounding.

    Marring near driving light marker.

    Clarity restored.

    Deep marring on lower rocker.

    After.

    Drivers rear quarter.............

    After.

    More sand scratches.

    Defects corrected.

    Drivers door 50/50`s.

As it was 10:30 PM when I finished.............Sun pics were not forthcoming on this now stunning vehicle.

    A few Infratech pics.

Unreal how bad that was. I just want to slap some of these rich-dude owners! Nice work saving this beauty. Now if you could only take it away from it`s owner!

    Excuse me while I drool!

Not for the great work done on the DB9, which is excellent, but the car.

If I were not so set on leaving some inheritance to my kid and his family--I would own one of those baby`s!!!!

Man, it`s tough to be old, us old farts actually use logic on occassion.

    Bob,

That DB must have just looked gorgeous in the sun. That flake was popping when you got done. Amazing work again, especially working around that emblem.

There`s more than one way to apply logic. Consider that you may be depriving your offspring the charactor-building experience of making his own way,as you probably did. I say do him a favor and buy yourself a DB9. You`re welcome. :tongue2:

Amazing work Bob! That driver`s door 50/50 speaks for itself. Also, it`s cool to see some of your mobile jobs every now and then. It`s impressive that you get great results even when not in that baller shop of yours!

Very nice work. Lovely car, if it was a choice between leaving a inheritance or buying such a car, I would write a nice sorry letter to my children
