Seriously bad and seriously beautiful car! Daily driver and weekend track toy. Owner has already taken it out for some track time in the few weeks he has owned. The car was built to be driven and the owner intends drive it as Porsche intended.
The car was pretty dirty but nothing ONR couldn`t handle. The half `n half shot shows the effects of midweek rains the last two weeks.
As I was inspecting the car after washing, I was very pleased to see it was in really good condition...
Then I got to the front bumper. For some reason, the front bumper had rotary swirls in it. Nothing too major at least.
A little 3M Ultrafina, a blue Ultrafina pad, my Dewalt 849 rotary and about 5 minutes of time, no more rotary holograms.
Porsche intended the GT3 as a track capable car right off the showroom floor, as evidenced by the soft compound PZero tires with a treadwear rating of 60.
Full process on the car:
ONR wash, only some very minor claying in a couple areas using white Meguiars clay
3M Ultrafina with a blue Ultrafina pad and my Dewalt rotary at 1000-1800-1000 rpms on the front bumper
3M Ultrafina with a white LC polishing pad and my Meguiars G110 DA polisher on the whole car
Clearkote`s Carnauba Moose to protect
Optimum Car Wax to add even more wetness and slickness
Armor All on the tires/fenderwells
Couple shots in the shade-
